A 28 year old male consulted with Gary Glisson, RPh. about recurring mouth ulcers that he has been experiencing for the last 8 months. The gentleman had consulted with 5 Physicians and 2 Dentists, It was recommended that he start on FOS and Probiotics. Patient called back the next week and reported that within 3 days they had all cleared up. He noted that he could feel them tingle like they were going to come back, but they never materialized.

A 65 year old retired marine and karate teacher consulted with Gary Glisson, RPh. for a large psoriatic lesion on the left hand. He brought in 10 prescription creams that a Dermatologist had written for him. Recommendation: Open up one Essential Fatty Acid capsule and put the oil on the lesion before bedtime. He is to sleep with gloves on. During the day he is to apply Elta Tar on the lesion. Patient came back in 2 weeks later and the lesion had completely cleared up.

Gary Glisson, RPh. consulted with a 50 year old male who was diagnosed with Folliculitis on the back. He has been to three different dermatologists with no success and is very frustrated. Reccommendation: Probiotics and FOS at the recommended dosage. Wife called back 2 weeks later and reported that the folliculitis had cleared up.

A 64 year-old Caucasian female who has been plagued with psoriasis for approximately ten years. She has tried many over-the-counter psoriasis medications with no success. She learned of a topical formula submitted by her brother, who also suffers from psoriasis, compounded by Ward Drug Company. To her delight and amazement, her psoriasis is practically gone! It had spiked to 124 at a CPE in July. Now it's down to 106 at the most stressful time of the day for me. I cannot explain the "relaxed- calm I feel!"

A 38 year old, small framed female and husband consulted with Dr. Angela Stokes, Pharm D. trying to solve her low libido and mood swings. Prior to the consult the patient did a saliva test and results were received. Her husband immediately burst into tears at the beginning of the consult and explained that this is urgent because they have split up at the wife's decision. She states it is not anything her husband has done. She says that she can barely get out of bed most days and at work she is just going through the motions. She states that it appears to be cycle related. She is still menstruating normally however her PMS symptoms have worsened and her mood swings and depression appears to be around her cycle.
