Ward Drug Company recently announced that Julie Parrish Leonard, RPh of Louisburg has joined its pharmacy staff at the Nashville drug store.
Leonard has lived most of her life in Franklin County. She attended Louisburg High School and then pursued her undergraduate and pharmaceutical education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She worked with Eckerd, now Rite Aid Pharmacy, for ten years. She was named District Manager for Eastern North Carolina during her last year with the company.
“I’m excited about working in Nashville and becoming involved in some of the wonderful programs here at Ward Drug Company such as Women’s Health and Diabetes education,” said Leonard.
She continued saying she is excited that she will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with her customers and that education of medications and health conditions makes a huge difference in everyone’s quality of life.
Leonard is the daughter of Wayne and Glenda Parrish of Louisburg, and the granddaughter of Bill and Violet Spencer and the late Jake and Rosa Parrish.
She has two children, Ashton who is 7 years-old and Amber who is 3 years-old.
Leonard says she welcomes customers to come by to meet her and she is available for one-on-one medication consultations by appointment. |
